Located in the heart of Seattle, Hotel Andra is a stylish boutique property featuring world-class service. As a trusted partner, Biscayne was tasked with producing beautiful case-goods for the guest rooms that matched the sophisticated style of the rest of the property.
By working closely with Design Studio Limited, Andra’s renovation of their 123 rooms provides a “sophisticated urban escape with a Scandinavian soul in a downtown area thriving with food, music, art and history”

Challenges
Our Engineering team is excited by a challenging design and the creative solutions needed to bring a designer’s vision to life. For this project, our production team was tasked with embedding a woven material into some of the showcase pieces (headboard, console, table) that also featured rounded edges.
Our solution was a heat-treating process to the natural woven cane, allowing it to conform to the requirements of each piece and seamlessly integrate with the wood grain. By working closely with design and ownership, our production and implementation teams were able to work in tandem to finish this beautiful project.
